If by gasket. You meen the little metal c clip what is by the sling plate in thr one photo
The sling plate slides on to the mag tube and the c clip snpas into a slot that holds the slip ate in place.
It let's you use thr sling plate lh ,rh or straight down.
Or not at all.
We do it like this as the plate as to freely move or you send of with thr maytube stuck in place and can't take the tube off unless you use video grips.
This was and still is a very common problem for Wilson Combat magazine tubes.
