Beretta 1301 tac and comp barrels compatible?

Like it says, are they compatible? I know the comp has a 3.5 receiver while the tac has a 3”, but will they fit?

I seem to recall seeing on another forum that they are not interchangeable due to the difference in receiver size, as you mentioned.

The 1301 Comp has a 3" chamber, not 3.5".

From what I gather, the comp has a 3.5” receiver but is chambered for 3”. The tactical has a3” receiver and chambered for 3”

This is correct but it is built on a 3.5" receiver. This was done to increase the size of the loading port for competition loading.

The barrels are not interchangeable. They have different sized piston assemblies
