Beretta 1301 Tactical Gen 2

Does anyone know when the new Beretta 1301 Tactical Gen 2 shotguns will be available? They showed the new ones at the 2018 SHOT show. The Gen 2 shotguns have an updated bolt release and the barrel end is threaded for chokes and I think there was a couple other things they upgraded as well.
 
They're now listed on Beretta's websites so they should be along fairly shortly.

Appearently Beretta USA moved their production facilities recently so that might be causing some delays.
 
I see they have the 1301 tactical LE on their website. It says its only for sale to law enforcment only. Wonder if they will be selling these in canada. It holds 6+1 so not sure if it will have to be plugged so it only holds the 5 rounds for here in canada

I'm interested in a 2018 gen 2 as well.

Beretta still has the older gen 1 described and pictured on their website.
 
You need to look at the Beretta USA website to see the Gen 2 guns. I’m not sure why they aren’t shown on Beretta’s main site but they US site definitely has them.


Edited: ok, this is weird. I swear the Gen 2 gun’s were listed on the Beretta USA site just last week... but now all I can see are the Gen 1’s.... I must be losing my mind.

It would only need a 1/4 inch plug to stop the last 3 inch round from being retained. Might be able to do it with some JB weld in the magazine cap. Either way, the capacity of 2 3/4's is good.
 
It would have to be altered outside the country. I don't think it would be allowed in,in its unaltered state.
 
I just checked the beretta usa site and they have the gen 2 tacticals on there now. They are selling for 1275 US on their website. Wonder when we will get them up here.
 
Holy crap! I didnt even realize it was the new version! I am suprised no one is advertising them as well either. Most canadian online stores that have them are just listing as 1301 tactical, if they have the gen 2 they should advertise that better.

I guess the mag capacity makes it LE Only, but it's otherwise identical to a 1301 Tactical except they swap in a Mesa Urbino PG Stock (with Riser and Limbsaver) and add a Nordic Component MXT mag extension kit (with railed barrel clamp and QD swivel) -- you can buy both aftermarket, plug the mag extension, and you'll have the "LE Only" version.
 
I just purchased a tactical 1301 from alflahertys. It was 1400 dollars and it was the 2018 gen 2 1301. Seems to be a decent price for a gen 2. Plus its hard to find the gen 2 tacticals out there in canada right now. Before i bought mine they had 2 left in stock.
