Beretta 1301?

I was taking a look on Beretta.com and they have a Beretta 1301. Google brought me a couple videos and that is it.
It looks darn nice! Does anyone know anything about that model?

I like everything Berretta makes.

The 1301 looks great, and I've also been waiting forthe Tx4 Storm!!

But when will we ever get these in Canada??
 
there is nothing about the 1301 on the internet, not even from Italian dudes except a couple videos made by beretta. Which might indicate that the gun is still in the works.
Beretta.com has it on the catalog but if it was for sale in those countries we might've seen something by now.

I think the A400 series is still too new and they didn't sell as many as they were hoping to. Here in my city, depending on where you go you can find the A400 new for 1100 + tax. It was a $1600 +tax when it came out last year. A big discount for a new gun and when that happens, well... I think they screwed up with that awful blue receiver (in the sporting version).

Anyway, I hope we can see the 1301 soon! I would love to have it for skeet!
 
3gun is a competition where you complete a shooting course using a handgun, rifle and shotgun. The synthetic stock and barrel length will make it decent for upland.

I called Epps about it a few months ago but they had no timeline for when it would be available in Canada.
 
I didn't mind the blue reciever on the A400 actually, probably not the finest for hunting, but it looked nice. Not a huge fan of the all black 1301 however, would be nice with some nice walnut on it.
