Just wondering if anyone can give me any info on this old shotgun? It has the words "monobloc Bertta Brescia" under the reciever,
"fucile rinforzato per polvert bianche speciale" on either side of the reciever and "Vittoria" and "Fiat" on each barrell and " Beretta Brescia Armi" on the butt plate. Great little gun, but it has been used but still very tight and good shape.
Any help on ID and value would be great!
Thanks

Unless I am mistaken, monoblock shotguns mean that the last 4 inches roughly of the breach is made from one piece and the two barrels are then fitted and soldered into the breach piece. That distinguishes it from most guns which have the two barrels extending all the way to the breach and brazed together for the last inch or two,

I think the second line refers to it being proofed for smokeless powder (polvert blanche or white powder)

Hopefully I am not too far off in that interpretation
