Beretta 391 question

Is it safe to fire a 391 with the handle removed from the breach block? Why? Let's say I lost the handle in the swamp and want to keep shooting. I'd like to know the same about the benelli SBE .

I dont see a problem but how are you planning on cocking or emptying the gun without shooting off all the ammo in the chamber/mag?

I just got off the phone with Peter and he assures us that it is perfectly safe
The handle is just to open the action. Just carry the handle in the field in Sask and insert it to unload or reload
There you are.... no more scrapped knuckles

Yes it's safe.

The joy you will face is trying to get a replacement from those idiots at Stoegers. Been there done that.
