Have a new Beretta 686 and the safety felt very stiff. Put 2 drops of oil on the bottom of the safety. It works smoother now but when fired the safety moves back to the safe position after the first shot. I guessl that it was meant to be stiff in the first place.
What is the best way to get the oil cleaned up?
Would a little alcohol on the safety dry up the oil or do I need to have it taken apart?
