Looking for information or history of this beretta 70s 380acp I just acquired. It's gold plated & highly engraved, beautiful little pistol. Surfed the net and found alot of information about the beretta 70s but nothing about this gold plated engraved edition, so I'm thinking it's fairly rare! Any help appreciated!

I have no idea who did that, but it's done nicely. Someone asked for it specially, and it certainly is rare. There can't be many like that, and you might get an answer from Beretta if you ask them directly. I can't quite read the name of the company on the right side of the slide, but if you can find them, maybe they can tell you about it.

Berben Corporation, NY, NY.
Is this the one from Epps that they wanted a fortune for? I am in awe of you, Sir.

Berben was one of Beretta's early importers, in the late 70s and early 80s. I agree, ask Beretta. Send a picture.

Thanks for the info! I'll try contacting Beretta! Yes it's the one from Epps, made the mistake of asking them to send me a picture!
I've always wanted a highly engraved pistol & couldn't resist this one. First time I've used my 12.6 to actually buy a prohibited.
