Beretta 89 added to the safe

I haven't seen one listed in Canada for awhile. The last 2 that sold on Gunbroker in the US went for 735 and 855 usd, which I thought was surprisingly low, but you can't really argue with the market. Granted the US and Canadian markets are different, but typically I find rarer items sell for more in the US because there are so many more collectors. Personally, I'd pay more for a used but excellent 89 than I would for a new 87.
 
I have seen model 87 listed for from 1100 to over 1200. you won't buy a model 89 in this condition on CGN or any where else for what this one cost me. As I said a friend sold it to me. I have checked US pricing as well for the 89
