Anyone tried that? I just bought a used 92FS and my biggest problem with this gun always been the huge slide mounted safety lever that dig into my hand when i rack the slide. Well i ordered the Wilson low-profile safety lever from Brownells and installed it. It's not that hard, you just have to pay attention not to loose the little springs and plungers in the safety mechanism. There are tons of video of how to do this on Youtube. Didn't shoot the pistol yet, but it feel much better now. This safety lever is not ambidextrous, so it is flush with the slide on the other side.

I also replaced the factory plastic trigger for a steel short reach Wilson Combat and a "D" hammer spring. Can't wait to try that this weekend.

Did any of you seem to have a problem with excessive pre-travel after installation? Mine seems to now go further back (more pull) before starting to stack up and then break.

I can't really comment on that cause the gun is new to me. I bought it from a freind of mine and only shot it a couple time before. I changed the hammer spring, the trigger and the safety lever as soon as i get the gun. I had the chance to shoot it only today. Wow! I am more of a Glock guy, but i have to say, this gun can shoot!

Yes it does travel further back but that is because its starting point is further back, the overall travel is the same you just have a "shorter reach" forward to get your finger on the trigger.
