Anyone have anyexperiences with this pistol? I've never really seen anything on here about it so I was wondering if there was a reason why.

Might be looking at getting one in 40S&W this summer.

I had one guy at my club highly recommend this pistol, but I decided on a glock because of my budget.

A local gunshop owner also mentioned these pistols were very good.

Sorry I can't provide any first person experiences. Good luck though

Full size pistol. VERY well made. Classic. Opinions after that depend on whether or not you want metal/polymer/manual "safeties"/different sizes etc...bla bla bla.

They made several improvements on the pistol, most importantly in terms of the locking block (I'm sure that will come up) etc...over the original 92/96 series.

Any Beretta 9X series pistol in 40 (96 series), will have a shortened life span if you stay with factory parts. Be prepared to replace a locking block at about 4000 rds, then a barrel and locking block assembly at about 7000 rds.....if you get 10000 rds without a catastrophic failure, you're doing good. This applies to 40 S&W only. 9mm is a better idea if you are going to shoot it alot.

Boltgun

I just got mine, shoots good, strips easy but cant find grips or a holster for it. Not sure if its going in the keeper safe or not, I have to say that I like my Glock better, as soon as we can meet at the club you can taker for a spin.
