My girlfriend bought a Beretta 90-two recently. We took it the range for the first time yesterday. Here are two videos:

And here are some photos. Her guns now are the 90-two and the conversion kit on a 92G frame full-time. She was using SIG for awhile, but decided that Beretta was really her thing. I should have more to add in the coming weeks.

Wow very nice! your girl friend has very good taste of gun. Is the grip size of 90-two slightly bigger than the 92F? form what I 've seen in your pics.

Is that inox conversion kit a factory finish? I have a 92F frame on the way I will be mounting my converison kit to full time as well. Nice pics.

The second video is up on Youtube now. The link is in the first post.

She took the rail cover off right away. I'm really not sure why they even include that. It must be for the non-rail diehards or the guy that did the styling on the new gun.

The grip size seems pretty close. I'm not 100% sure if it is a little bigger or what. If anything, you would think that they would try and slim it down a bit, bit it feels very similar to hold them.

The conversion kit is some kind of aluminum-type alloy. It has a stainless look, but it is very light. The kit works great. She used to have a Vancouver Police surplus 92G 9mm, but after about 2 years the slide cracked and warped so that the firing pin block wouldn't go up and down reliably. It would bind against the slide. So now she uses the conversion kit on that frame full time. There is a video of it on Youtube here:

Nice gun. I briefly considered the 90-TWO when I wanted to buy an alloy frame gun, but decided on Sig P226 instead.

P.S. the handgrip is available in two sizes; the one that comes with the gun is regular size. You can get the smaller one from Beretta.

Yah, I am sort of the same way. I like the Beretta's but they are not quite "me". I think it is kind of interesting that she has gravitated toward Berettas since she started shooting about 3 years ago. She used to have a Ruger 22/45 but sold it. Now she uses these two. Strangely, the other gun that she was considering was the GLOCK 19 - so I might buy her one of those down the road.

Capp, have you seen anywhere where you can get the smaller grip from? She is interested in it. She thinks the grip is the same as the 92, but would be interested to try something smaller. We could try "Stoeger Canada" - or whatever it is called - the Canadian distributor, by going through our local shop... but I would like to try and just order it myself if I can find someone in Canada or who will ship it to Canada.

Someone a while ago said she got one from Gobles gun store in London, but I think any gun store that sells Berettas can get one for you.

BTW your GF has a better taste in guns than you ;)
