I'm looking at buying a Beratta 90-Two type F but I have never fired one nor do I know anyone who has. Have any of you out there tried one out?
I'm a member at the Poco range and would really appreciate it if someone would give me a chance to try it. This is going to be my first pistol.

FYI This is different from the 92 they make. I mention that because some people I've spoken with didn't know.

if you've shot a normal 92 then you can expect the exact same. the only real functional difference is the ability to change the grip sizes

They make a 90-Two F? I know there's a 90-Two, and a 92F...

Anyway, if you mean the 92F, I've shot it, and it's nice. It's not as heavy as steel SIGs by my recollection, but it still does an excellent job of soaking up recoil.

No F.

The good people at Beretta decided to jazz up their 92FS line. They did it before with the Vertec version.
An Italian design bureau came up with some cosmetic and style changes and the Beretta people put it into production.
The 90Two is a fine 9mm & 40 pistol. It has the longer Beretta barrel, while most s/autos have just a bit longer than four inches.
You cannot go wrong with this gun.

One of the guys I work with bought one of them recently and I got a chance to fire it last week. It was not a lot different than the older 92 style (except for the price!) and was very nice to shoot. If you are a Beretta fan you will enjoy shooting this pistol.
