Hey 9 mil lovers, i wanna know if other gunnutz like me own a beretta 90-two 9 mm...if so, how do you like it and more importantly, have you been able to compare it to its parent 92fs?

i was only able to try the difference recently, i dont see much of a difference...i think that a choice would reside in the difference of esthetics, despite what beretta says about its new gun having corrected any snags of the 92fs...

not too many accessories for the 90-two either...especially when it comes to holsters; i guarantee you that a 92fs holster will NOT fit with a 90-two.

owned the 90two, great little gun, as for the lighter weight and rail, id say not much is different, just preference and feel.

ive been told a bunch that the holsters will not fit. thats the only limitation. cant go wrong with either one

I had a 90-two in 9mm and a 40s&w, and loved them both. The advantages with the 90-two is u can get the thinner grip for it and it will feel like the vertec model witch in my opinion is the best for small to medium hands.
There are a couple of mod's made from the factory wich are a bonus I.e. The frame buffer that in theory will put less beating on the frame and the slide is comparable to the brigider slides (thicker steel on sides).
If u like the look of the 90-two go for it and keep it.
But keep in mind there is nothing wrong with the good old 92fs/m9.

As for holsters I had one made from bladetech (for the 90-two) and it was perfect in every aspect.

I shot the 92FS and 90-Two side-by-side once. The 92FS felt better in my hand and I shot it better, plus I also prefer the look of the original. Don't own either though, so I can't really do better than an anecdotal comparison.

Started here with a 92S (before the FS).. was excellent..

then was using my 93R... insane!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Finally used a "m9" which felt identical to the 92S overall.

However due to my use of the 93 i still prefer the frame safety (old habits due to selector/safty locations)

Therefore I actually prefer the Taurus 92 over the m9 / 92fs
