I`m looking at getting a 9mm.
I liked my 92fs and am thinking of getting another but have been handling the M&P 9MM at the local gun store and really like the way it fits and points.
So I would like to hear from the guys who have shot both, which do you prefer and why?
I will shoot PPC, ODPL and general blasting at the range.
As always thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom.

I've shot both. I own a M&P40.

I've got 2000 through the M&P and shot about 100 rounds through the beretta.

The M&P is a keeper. I like it more and more each time I shoot it.

THe beretta never really did thrill me. It's a matter of taste I guess.

Whatever fits better in your hand.
Have been a die hard Beretta fan, shoot a Brig Inox (IPSC production) very satisfied.
Tried the M&P 9 a couple of times, good point and aim. Not particularly enthralled with the jointed trigger and the mag release.
Ultimately, I prefer the stainless Beretta to the tupperware.
Personal choice!

I had one of each, now I have the Beretta & a Sig. M&P was OK but the others just fit me better.

I have Beretta 92FS and M&P9 :)

Love both, but Beretta is a better quality gun, no question about it! It also has less recoil and is a smoother shooting pistol. Both have been 100% reliable but I haven't shot my M&P as much as 92FS... For range/target gun 92FS is a better choice IMO.

If I could carry one it would be M&P bcause it's lighter and a little smaller. But it's a non issue in here Canada...
