Hi.
So the trigger on the Beretta 92 seems to be awefully long. It is quite hard too. There is a lot of nothing, then you can feel it start to work. Is this normal? Is there any way to lighten the trigger pull? How about shortening it too?

Thanks.

Kevin

Yup, as noted above it's covered in the other thread. I've been running the "D" spring for 5/6 years now, tried out a variety of others before that. Can't remember why I settled on the "D" but it's been in there for thousands now, trouble free. It drops that first all-important DA shot for quicker time on the clock and (for me) better chance of a down zero/Alpha off the draw.

I am also running the Wolff trigger return kit (4 years or so now) - not sure if I noticed a difference or if it was just a more reliable looking piece, but it's been holding its own.

Changing to a different trigger spring will not improve on how long the take up is in single action. You should only be letting off the trigger until the reset point anyways, so really, it is a none issue.

^^ This.

I have one as well and experienced the same lightening of DA by a few and the SA as well. Ordered another one for my newly acquired Girsan as well
