Here's an silly question. I have "Parts" for 3 9mm Beretta 15round clips. The one clip I do have was converted at the proper time to 10 rounds but the person who did it made it totally impossible to take it apart to see how it was done. (It was done some time ago and quite poorly.)

The idea of rivets seems good but with all the searching on here I have come up with an article but the instructions were somewhat limited. I read photos better and if anyone has a good photo of what it should look like I would be thrilled beyond belief.

I'd hate to see all these "Parts" go to waste and not become usable mags.

Thank you very much
Mike

Can you not block them internally with a solid chunk of plastic/wood?

I don't think this is allowed, because you could open the mag and remove the blockage too easily. There are specific instructions somewhere, I have seen them posted here before.

When I had to block a Beretta 92FS 9mm 15 rounder to 10 I welded a stick into the side of the magazine, just like the factory Beretta mags. The stick was a piece of welding rod, 1/8" x 1 3/4" if I remember correctly. With a little jiggling you can still take the followers out of the mags to clean the proberly.

Make an aluminum plug and hold it in place through the bottom plate with a 8-32 button head cap screw. The Ontario CFO approved this because a special tool (allen key) was needed to remove it.
