Beretta 92FS Brigadier

I don't have a Brigadier, I've got a regualr 92FS INOX.

what can I say I love it :)

Only difference between the reguar 92fs and Brigadier 92fs is the heavier slide and the Inox has wraparound grips.

as for prices you can pick up a brigadier for $1050-1150.

Don't forget the removable front and rear sights. Oh and both Inox and blued version come with the wrap around, stippled rubber grips. (I know this cuz I'm picking up one this weekend.)

Damn you bastards with...money. *shakes fist*
The Brigadier has the beautiful hogue grips. But is there any price diff. over the reg m92f really?

you mean Bruniton?

hmm...on the Beretta's website they show Brigadier in bruniton finish with regular grips. only Inox has the wraparound grips.

I don't have money I have guns
'regular' 92fs is about $900-950, 92fs Inox is about $950-1000

If you get the Inox version be aware that there is a known problem with the extractor breaking on them. This issue doesn't seem to exist on the blued version. The extractor on my 96 Brigadier Inox broke at about the 1200 round mark. It took 4 months to get a replacement from Stoeger, 2 weeks to get a replacement from the US (but the guy I got it from the US isn't in business anymore).

When I ended up selling my 96 Brig I sold it with a blued extractor installed and two extra blued extractors to go with it just in case.

sigh and I have extra extractors now..........
Yes the Inox extractors on the new Elite II's in .40 suck. however I hadn't heard of any Inox extractors on Inox Brigs (non Elite) breaking. I'd assumed it was an American production issue. Apparently not.
I have a ton of experience with Brig Beretta's (duh) and if you are interested in trying out a couple let me know. I'll be teaching next Friday (not this coming one) at the Abby club and you are more than welcome to come and try them out.

you then lose the ability to put a new front sight on the gun, if that matters to you.

I have absolutely zero issues wit hthe stock sights on the 92FS

I can see how some people with less than ideal eyesight might want to change them, but not worth the extra outlay to me personally.

92's Rock by the way. No plastic guns for me, thanks.

Owned a brig for a couple of years.
Third most accurate hand gun I had.only behind my PPC Dan Wesson
and Customized 1911.
Liked the heavier slide and the remodelled grip so that trigger reach
was improved.Mine came with the Hogue grips.
Just never really tripped my Trigger if you'll parden the pun.
It was near the bottom of my prefered list well befind 1911,glock,XD40,
Sig 226, Hi Power or the CZ.But ahead of Ruger, Auto loading Smith.
Kept it for a feww years because I used it Mainly for teaching perposes
because all the New guys recognized it and wanted to shoot it .
And it was also the pistole I didnt mind others handling.
That said I Had no complaints about quality or rugidness of the pistol.

Regards
