Beretta 92FS firing in DA only

Hey guys,

Have any fellow Beretta 92FS owners completely disassembled their pistol, only to find it firing in double-action only upon reassembly?

I've done the entire process twice now, even inspective every piece to make sure they're not worn out. I just can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

And yes this is a 92FS. I know they made models that were DA only but it was working fine before I goofed it up.
 
Thanks again Slavex. With your post I was able to more accurately pinpoint the problem. Indeed it was the sear spring not engaging. Instead of riding in the groove of the sear it was on the outside leaning against the frame. Problem solved. Cheers.

Cool dude, I only know because I've been there myself lol. It's an easy miss. On some of the Berettas the sear spring legs were just a bit too short and were a giant pain to install properly. I don't know why they did that, but I think newer productions ones are a bit longer. Glad it worked out for you.
