Well I wouldn't claim to be an expert but I have bought and sold quite a few guns on this forum and I have never been asked or have I expected to have a transfer initated before I send or recieve funds. I just thought that was standard practice. However, I do make sure that the minute I get the money I am on the phone with the CFC, it is curtious to be fast once paid and every guy I have dealt with has done the same for me.
