Yes I did ... I took it to the gunsmith.. there is a special tool to remove the old sight and replace it with the new one without scratching or damaging the slide.
I saw the tool for installing the sights on Beretta's website. For $100 I think you could get a gunsmith to do it and still have some coin leftover for ammo.
