Are all Beretta 92FS made in Italy?

Was it the contract that the M9 had to be produced in the U.S. if it was to be adopted by the U.S. military?

And does the M9 production facilities make any civilian sales?

I bought a M9 three weeks ago, made in the state, you can't really find the different, every piece of parts were well made, no burrs inside out, smooth finish, turely eye candy. the fit and finish put many other guns at the same or even higher price range to shame . Action butter smooooooth. Haven't got a chance to try it yet as I have some other toys come along.

Some in the US, some in Italy. I've seen people in EE trying to make the "made in italy" more expensive but local shop price doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't know if there is actually a difference in fit/finish italy vs us..

I think the Italian stainless would be GREAT... if the slide actually MATCHED the frame of the pistol... ok sorry for the caps and excitement but I think the offset doesn't look good IMO
