Great gun, I have two M9"s, I like the hex grip screws better, and it says M9 on the side.

The M9 is just the "Military" version. It has a few slight differences over the commercial 92FS, these are a slight difference in the grip, as well as a straight dust cover, and fancy military markings. The sights are also a two dot sight compared two the three dot sight of the 92FS. Go on youtube and search for 92FS vs M9. Their is a video by a guy called windmill or something. he goes over the differences.

As for the Ionix, I think its just a pimped out version, but I don't really like the silver look so I never really looked into it.

You mean buy the M9 and both Inox models (Italian and US) and then because same mags may as well also buy the CX4 (and then convert to non-restricted).

Added hogue rubber panel grips to all three and swapped out the rear sight on the US Inox for an adjustable sight. Dab of white paint over top of the red of front sight helped - may drill it out though for fiber optic.

Any of the plastic parts of the M9 can be replaced with metal parts. Lots of US GI Beretta parts around.

I wish Beretta kept the vertec. Also look at the 90-two and the 92A1, which is the 92fs with a nice rail.
