Is it possible to get these in Canada at all? I've recently received my Pal, and have been trying very hard to find one. Is this model made in Italy at all? I think I've only seen them on the american Beretta website. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Shawn

IIRC, there was 1 for sale on the EE not too long ago.

If I may ask.......why not a regular 92FS? Both Italian made and US made come up for sale regularly. The "G" is just a derivative of the FS, and I believe a modification is possible to do to convert a FS to a G with the right parts from Beretta. I know this can happen with a PX4

I like decocker only, especially because of the location of the levers. To convert an fs to a g requires machining I believe. Thanks for the info man.

The new Wilson Combat Berettas are G aren't they? And yes G is the way to go man.

Yes, the Wilson 92 Brigadier is a G model. And converting an FS to a G requires the G parts, and machining - it's not trivial machining either. Wilson offers the conversion service pending availability of the parts, but somehow I think dealing with the border would be a royal pain.

Thanks for the responses guys...I have good news! Kind of...lol. I found a Wilson Combat Beretta 92 Brig Tac, possibly the only one in Canada...it's going to be over 2 grand though :/. There are only 3 things I dislike about it: shortened barrel, vz grips, the fact that it's USA made. Other than those 3 it's the perfect gun in regards to my tastes. I can change one of the issues, the grips...trying to find these http://m.berettausa.com/productDetails/?id=142350463&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.ca%2F&productURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.berettausa.com%2Fen-us%2Fberetta-92-series-aluminum-checkered-grips-w-trident-logo%2Fjgalu92blk%2F. They seem to be no where in Canada, if anyone has an idea of where to look I'd appreciate some guidance. Cheers.

The shortened barrel is a good thing, the grips you're looking for are the Hogue Beretta aluminum grips, good luck finding ones with the Trident logo on them now, I don't think they are made anymore.

+1 the Elite IIs are very nice and will probably run around a grand used +\-.

The beefier slide is nice and they are de-cocker only.

Good luck finding an Elite II or I or even a IA. There are some 92G models coming from Beretta as well, but who knows when they will arrive, if ever. The WC is really a good value when you look at the extras it has.

Thx guys...I actually managed to find the standard plastic grips on amazon...hope they aren't some dumb knock off. Oh well, count my blessings I guess lol. What are some your guy's favorite Canadian dealers to buy parts and customization stuff from (grips, springs etc)?
