from BC here and wanted to see where the best place to grab some extra mags. Any ideas?

I personally stuck with OEM for mags , but I know they can be costly

The Beretta OEM mags have the notch cuts for both the 92s (heel release) and the 92fs (thumb release). Virtually all the aftermarket mags have the notch cut for the thumb release only.

HOWEVER.

You can buy 1 OEM mag as a reference, and about 5-10 minutes with a Dremel metal cutting wheel, and notch any of the aftermarket mags.

The Corwin 92FS mags are good quality, work great in my 92fs, and are significantly less expensive, but do not posses the 92s heel release cut.

Also, I accidentally (*cough*) bought some of the Beretta 96 mags, which are chambered for 40 S&W (*cough-cough*), but for some reason appear to feed 9mm in my 92FS just fine. I only mention that, because I've been asked about it 14 times at the range.

I would reccomend the Corwin Arms mags as well. The 4 pack is a great price and decent quality. I bought a 4 pack and modified the mag catch for my Taurus 99.
