I have a Girsan Regard, which is clone of the 92FS (more or less). I like it.
92 is a full sized pistol. It is large. Small hands beware.
92s eject brass everywhere when dirty (clean the ejector, and spring, and it will usually remedy the problem).
The bottom mag release takes some getting used to (I shot a 92S for some of my range qualifications), probably not ideal if you want to compete with it. Fun to loan to others who have not shot it, and let them try and find the magazine release!
Seems to me the sights are quite low on the 92S.
I think the safety/decocker only operates on the left side on the 92S. Definitely only on one side of the slide.
The safety is on the slide. Some people don't like that.
Oh, and the Beretta 92 family of pistols can bite when racking the slide.
