Kinda curious about these. Anyone know where to get em in Canada?

How do they attach and are they worth it? Wonder if maybe just a better recoil spring could accomplish more to take some of the snap the .40 has for quicker follow up shots

Thanks

It will be around $90 to $110,exclude delivering and taxes, You must understand the design of the gun , it ain't helping anything, If you reload , there is something called light 40 . Put 3.75 grains of Win231 work with 180 grains bullet head ,will give you same power factor as standard 9mm ,Very comfitable to shoot.

i put one on my 9mm just for looks. still havent shot it yet. but i can see how it would at least dampen the muzzle rise. but its actually from e-hobbyasia.com but its cast aluminium. but the ports on the top should do the job to push some of the gas down. as long as the .40 cal barrel is the same dimensions as the 9mm should just slip right on ad then you just tighten it down. some minor fitting was involved. but there is an actual machinist who makes them and would ship to canada, but they are pricey. if memory serves about 200$ hec-computers.com check those out. that'll be a step in some direction...

Actually I had asked a gunsmith to put on a muzzel brake when I first got my 96A1 10 years ago, the answer form him was unrecommended and worthless , first the design of the gun , the barrel had no support at the end of the gun from the slide ( 1911 style had a bushing ), second this type of muzzel brake needs slow burn gun powder to provide gases to push down the gun .If you shoot factory load , the easiest way is to get a "C " Glock 22 , (G22c)that ported at the barrel without add on .

Well the one from hec is mounted to the Frame and tightens down over then end of the barrel. Should do the trick quite nicely. They also look pretty bad ass. If you're into the whole equilibrium tetra grammaton thing.

Oh , I am very interest to see the other pricey design over the traditional one, if it is possible can you post a picture ( just for interest ) , honestly, I am very enjoying to shoot the ported Glock models, very controllable even I up charge the loads .
