So I was browsing around the web when I noticed that Beretta makes 9mm handgun brakes with 1/2"-28 threads.

They look to be well made and well priced, averaging about $55, and said to work on many firearms.

Anyone ever tried them?

Just looking for something fun to play with on my CZ P10C.

I have them for my Beretta APX Combat both the Warrior and Swing model no timing required, quality Beretta product, fit and finish is awesome (watch out with the warrior). It helps me out as a 1A shooter as does the longer "125mm barrel" not that the APX platform isn't already a flat shooter, as I also have the APX RDO "105mm" model. As far as your average of $55, where are you getting that? When the only 2 places that you can get them in Canada that I am aware of are: and the ones I imported from BUSA before either Al's or Stoeger had them. Stoeger stocks all three but charge $79.99

Thanks for the 411, Is Dante's a Beretta dealer? They must have got them in recently too, when I was searching for this stuff in Dec/Jan nobody but BUSA had them. Yes the pointy, very pointy bits. :)
As far as which brake is better I couldn't give a fair evaluation as I am shooting with the swing at the moment, although it does complement the combat(125mm) barrel nicely. If your going by cosmetic only than the warrior, I will probably get the Typhoon for Christmas just to have the set. There's a nice "Beretta" w/symbol engraving on the brake as well, for the price you can't go wrong. The brakes have a nice weight to them steel construction.

Yup have the RDO had Fast fire three on it, red dot piece of junk took it off, but find trigger is very harsh and gritty trying to fine tune loads, if you wrap your finger and squeeze fast not bad but no where near my comp factory 1911 or shadow two
Was looking at the springs etc on beretta USA
Do you know of any good smiths around that can fix these things other than that really like the feel of gun

That's what I thought, did you mount the BFF3 yourself? I found that when you remove the RDO plate and expose the striker blocker spring that sits on top of the bucket that rides up and down on the striker block every time you pull the trigger, if you misalign the spring when putting the optic plate on and it isn't riding in the middle. What can happen is the end of the spring gets caught in the gap between the hat that rides up and down and the cylinder wall it resides in causing that gritty feel, like there's sand and rocks in there. Turn that spring upside down so the small end face down towards the hat and the big end towards the bottom of the optic plate. Try this let and me know if anything changes, it should as it's happened to me! from butter smooth (mounted optic) to rocks/sand ( figured out issue) back to butter smooth. Running a Vortex Venom.

Big end f spring as up and centered when ff111 went on, that part ok took ff111 off put blank back centered again trigger still same
Will pull it off and pull spring right out and check to see if it is mashed or anything Tks

I ordered the Warrior brake for gits and shiggles.
Are they Nitride finished?
If not, I may drill more holes in order to increase effectiveness.
I really like to ones made by Rex Silentium and they are well priced around 38USD.
I'm really not into tacticool and I may end up simply removing the spikes on a lathe.

Yes they have a coating whether it is Nitride or not I am not an expert. I am going to sell my extra "swing" muzzle brake in the EE after the weekend I will post an ad and see if there is any interest. Enjoy the Warrior brake. :)
