Beretta 9mm or Colt 1911?

Sell all your current handguns..... and your truck and get a Wilson!! Ha just kidding. I am currently in a similar debate. Offloading my S&W MP to help my 1911 fund. Still browsing brands though. Would really like a Colt MkIV but need to do a bit more research i think........... good luck!:)

Your Beretta has value, buy/sell/trade for a 1911 and shoot that for a bit then rinse and repeat.
Or fall in love with it and never go back.

I have a preference for the Glock over the Beretta as well.

Who sells the STI brand? I will look into that.

Site sponsor Armco.... link at the top left corner of the CGN page.... sells the STI 1911's.

NAA.

Once I started shooting .45 I stopped shooting 9mm. It costs a bit more, but people exagerate how much.

Here is a simple equation to help you with similar problems in the future:

1911 > god and all his other creations

newshot....Same thing is happening to me these days. Since I started shooting .45 my hand keeps reaching past my 9mm to the 1911

That's what I am afraid of! I love my 9mm but I have heard once you shoot the .45 you don't look back as much! Arrrrgh, what to do???

Kodiak outpost has Rock Island Arms 1911's in 9mm for $550 and tax with free shipping!

Keep the Beretta, and buy one of these to see how much you like it!

If you really like it then sell both and you will have enough for a real nice 1911 in .45!

Agree with the gentlemen who suggested to keep the Beretta and get a Norkie 1911, and I'd strongly recommend the Sport model or the Commander if you desire a shorter barrel.

IMO, these two models represent the top of the line Norkie 1911s and you'll be happy with either of them even without changing any part or going to a gunsmith.

The stiff Nork trigger is a great learning aid in that you will be a much better shooter in a much shorter time....my buddy is proof of that.
