Beretta 9mm?

Being Italian I also figured I should own a Beretta. Can't go wrong with a company that's been around for 500 years right? Then I picked one up, and it was unfortunately the most awkward feeling handgun I'd ever held. I was disappointed.

Wow, that Inox 92FS is breathtaking ....would go great with my M9

Beretta 92FS / M9 is a 9mm Legend, and a handgun staple...just like a Glock 17/19

A Beretta 9mm would be an excellent choice. Get it ;)

I like the fat grip on the Beretta and I like the reliability, I like the way it shoots and I really like the looks of it.
So when I saw these Model 70/71's in 22LR come up surplus for a good price I had to have it. Same story as the 9mm.

HEY! i have the same two....but only one mag for the 70.....where did you find the spare?

I've seen two inox with broken frames, but never seen a blued one broken. Nice shooters but big in the hand. Try holding one, if you like it, you can ussually find clean used ones between 5-600

I've always liked the way the 92 feels (held a few at the store) and the INOX is just gorgeous. Never shot one but I always told myself I'd get one eventually.

Now dunwithit will have to get a PX4! Lol. On a serious note... The 92 was designed to be a military firearm and Glocks are designed for local law enforcement agencies. Both are very reliable and have great reputations and their full potentials will seldom be untilized by the average civilian shooter. A Glock is like a Chevy Tahoe police SUV and a Beretta is similar to a Lav III armoured vehicle. Most people do not need an SUV and yet others (when given the oppertunity) would love to drive a tank. Can't go wrong with either but I personally own a few Beretta's.

Berettas are pure ### captured in metal, IMO.
hey I like that! :D

here's an old pic of mine

Actually the glock was designed ground up as a military pistol. LE use was secondary.

I always wanted a 92. So eventually when I finally saved enough money I went to my LGS and I picked one up and held it and found the grip was to large for my hand. I was horribly disapointed to find out my dream pistol wouldn't work well for me.

So in the end I ordered a Beretta 90-two and put a set of slim grips on it. Now I have my Beretta that fits my grip nicely and I couldn't be happier.
