Came to where the scattergun experts are. I have an A301, 23/4" 20 guage that had the buttstock slightly shortened for the former owners wife. It has a VR barrell, fixed modified. I am 6'2" and can shoot it just fine. Its in great shape. Wondering what a fair asking price for it should be. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Cheers

Modified stock, 2-3/4" chamber only, fixed choke, probably not steel safe, so it's got a very small market of buyers. Either an upland only or a clays gun, for a youth/smaller person.

That being said, the 301 is a beautiful shotgun. $500?

Thanks Grouse Man, I sure wish the stock hadnt been worked, although to look you wouldnt know. I have shot steel out of it as it is a modified choke. Thanks for the input, I will see what I can get out of it, I am selling off a few safe queens and plan to get one or two nice pieces I will use and have fun with!!

In this part of the world, $ 350 would be more reasonable.

Nothing much wrong with the gun, but the market is quite limited
for a fixed choke 20ga. in Modified with a shorter than original stock !
