Evening every one,
A friend of mine lent me his Beretta AM 300 12 gauge, and its a real nice shooter. The problem is, when I went to fire some Winchester Super Sport target loads they would not cycle the action. This is one of the first semi auto shotguns I have used, but I do know that there is some way to regulate it so that it will cycle with light loads. Could anybody explain to me how to do this, or post a link of some sort to show how to adjust the gun?
Any help is apreaciated.
Thanks in advance,
Quinn

The AM 300 is regulated for magnum an heavy field loads. It is not unusual for one to not cycle lighter target loads. What is required is to have a smith open the gas ports so more gas will be used to cycle the action. Once this is done it should cycle the lighter loads but may cause the action to work excessivly hard when magnum loads are used. Since you do not own the gun I would try the heaviest target loads.
