Hi guys

I was given a Beretta A-M-301. It is in very good all around condition with some marked to the wood from being used.

It is a magnum (3") fixed full with vent rib

I am selling this gun with the proceeds going to a charity and have a friend who is interested in it.

What is a fair price for this shotgun bearing in mind I am trying to neither gouge my buddy nor short change the charity

Thanks for any assistance!

I'd say that valuation is about right. Chrome bores, IIRC, so threading for choke tubes or reaming is $$$. And I don't know if it is safe for steel shot, either. So, limited market.

I sold a real nice one this Spring for $600, but was 98%. The fellow that bought was happy with it. Those old Beretta shotguns do have a following. I've used a 301 for years, mostly for shooting at clay pigeons. :p

Thanks for the assistance.

I think I read that the barrels are interchangeable with other Berettas?

If so, I will no doubt be spending my time trying to find a screw choked barrel for him once I get around to giving it to him and collecting his money.
