Beretta a300 ultima patrol

As far as I know they're all(Black, FDE, Green) Cerakote already, except for the marine model.

Did he have the Nordic clamp on it? You can get a silicon gasket that goes between it to help prevent that. might have to trim it a bit though.

This happened with my 1301t, I just tightened it a little more. Barrel and mag extension tube gently marred. Oh well, I accept it as wear and tear :p
I do want the Tiger Stripe A300 though....

I just contacted my Stoeger Canada representative about the A300. They said that it's currently "Prohib due to 7 round mag capacity but are working with them to get the compliant 5 round capacity. However no word when that may be possible."

Just FYI, Beretta Holdings owns all of these companies:

Beretta / Benelli / Franchi / A. Uberti / Stoeger / Sako / Tikka / Chapuis Armes / Steiner / Burris

I am well aware but that is irrelevant. Just because the parent company owns a different brand does not make that brand equal. I own 2 Benelli shotguns (M4 & SBE2) I own 8 Beretta shotguns. IMO, Beretta is a better shotgun hands down.

X2. Lighter, faster and much cheaper. The M4 is possibly more robust but I doubt to the point it would matter at all. I had sold my M4 years ago and regretted it. I bought a 1301T on a whim and instead of ever buying another M4 I bought another 1301 and spent the money I saved on fancy upgrades I don't need.

Lighter and cheaper because of plastics and aluminum.....I prefer the M4 the weight doesn't bother me as much as knowing my gun is held together with plastic...don't get me wrong nice gun and would be proud to own one.....however I picked the M4 and have no regrets.....and definitely non about plastic parts....

The M4 is made is plastic and aluminum too. Not sure what your point is. Stock models compared, it's over 1lb heavier with little to no benefit. If the 1301 is too light for you then hang some junk off it. You'll be able to afford it with the money you save. Nobody is saying the M4 is bad, it's just not the best any more.

For each there own, I'm sure all 3 are super nice and will last the average shooter, I just felt like the extra money spent on the M4 made sence to me. I see alot of 1301 guys on here knocking the M4....I don' t think it's a valid argument. If the m4 and the 1301 were the same price I don't think there would be an argument.

Would you happen to know what the finish is on the 1301 tac barrel? I bought one used and the kid I bought it off of had a part of the barrel marred up from a barrel clamp with no gasket. I was thinking about getting the barrel cerakoted. But I generally find cerakote to be weak vs factory finish.
Its not cerakote is some kind of car paint.we have been told that they were going to move to cerakote but not seen that yet
