Anyone still use their 3" for duck hunting?

Great shotgun, I have a hunting friend that has used one for years as his only shotgun. Any 3" shell will work, his has screw in chokes.

I've had one since the 80's and still use it. It has screw in chokes but when I inquired to Beretta for some reason they said to avoid "letter"shot and stay with "numbered" shot when using steel. I never used it with BB steel so I can't say if the caveat was overly cautious or a real concern.

Thanks for the info I don't get many geese in the marsh I hunt in usually stick to #2 or 3 shot.

I've had the exact shotgun for 30 yrs. I use a kicks Hi Flyer (mod) for ducks. Works great! Love the gun and will be passing it along to my son when he's old enough. I find any of the popular brand of shells shoots well out of it. If you choose to use a ported choke they say the Federal Black cloud wad technology doesn't do well. Good luck and enjoy the gun. I have for a long time.

Mines a 2 3/4 inch only, great shotguns though!
