Beretta A400 vs Benelli SBE3

I have. SBEIII and my buddy has an A400. His May kick a little less, but you’d have to be 1 ply to notice. And at the end of the day he’s got an hour or 2 of cleaning and I give mine a 60 second wipe down. So yeah.... don’t forget that part.

2 hours of cleaning? Maybe ten minutes every 6 hunts...

that cracks about the 2 hours of cleaning is some funny arse shoot!

I owned an A400 and fell in love with it until I started shooting with it. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn or get it to fit me right now matter how much tinkering I did.
I have owned both a SBE2 and a Vinci. I really wanted to like both but just couldn't. The Vinci I sold as fast as I purchased it - I'd have a headache after shooting two box's of shells swatting crippled bluebills. I also found both Benelli patterned 2 ft higher then where I was aiming. Maybe the way I hold a gun but it was something I wasn't prepared to deal with that long term. I can point and shoot my Winchester and hit what I want most times before I have even lowered my head.

Been happily running an SX3 for 10 plus years.

Gun fit is huge.I cannot stress it enough and I have been at this for a few decades. From my 870 pump to the new browning wicked wings cynergy.
I have always extended moved and lowered stocks
.Perhaps it is because of my stature 6'5" but gun fit has always been a thing .I have shot competitive trap as well which drove home the fact of gun fit equals better shooting.Try them all but the gun that fits the best is the one that you will be most happy with.

Agreed on gun fit. Your buying an expensive gun here dont just buy the first one in your hands.

Go to a bunch of gun stores and shoulder every semi they have. You will understand fit a bit better. I had a A400 and used it for a season, Realised it just wasnt right for me and sold it to my old man, bought myself a Browing Maxus. Love the gun. My 5th year hunting with it this year. 300 rounds before I cleaned it. Hunted all weather, shoot 2 3/4, 3 and 3.5 shells . Never a problem. Dura touch is nice too, just wipe the gun dry after a hunt
