Beretta A400 Xtreme+ Break in or not?

I just got my self a Beretta A400 Xtreme+ and can't wait to take it to the range. The recommendation to break-in or not are split. I did the full cleanup as recommended, but mine didn't come with the sticky goop everyone talks about (or the hard case ).

If anyone that has a recent model can provide some advice, I'll appreciate it.

Its always best to run 3 or 4 boxes of heavy loads thru them as recommended by beretta.
Steel waterfowl loads work just fine or any 1.25oz heavy field loads.

As stated above.....The Beretta A-400 Extreme manual says to run a couple of boxes of Heavy Loads thru your gun 1st to break it in.

The break in is going to happen as you shoot it. Clean, oil, shoot, repeat. Any roughness will wear in and smooth out.
