Im seriously thinking of getting a Beretta A400 light and was wondering if there are any negatives to this gun? Im looking to use it mostly for upland game but also some recreational clay shoots and maybe some ducks.
How do you like yours?? Do they have any issues cycling ??

Cheers!!

I bought probably one of the very first A400 Xplor unico K.O. in Canada. It has proven to be everything it promised. I have shot clay and waterfowl with it and it has performed every bit like a Beretta. It is very light for its size (28" barrel).

I have shot light 2 3/4 target loads and 3' game loads as well as 2 ounce 3 1/2 loads in rapid fire to test Beretta's claim that it will cycle any combination of shotgun loads. It does!

long term durability remains to be seen.

Well pulled out the bills and bought an A400 light. Can't wait till it arrives.
I was tossing the idea of a Benelli Ultra light as well but The Beretta A400 light was less money then some guys wanted for their used ones.
Thanks for the help guys!!

I have the a400 light... It is a basic shotgun but performs flawlessly... Probably the best all round performer... The best part for me is the cast and drop adjustments

I am using a Beretta a400. Cycles all loads without failure.

My son used it for his first rounds of trap and it worked perfectly using light target loads. He shot so well I bought another one.

I think you will be pleased if you do decide to go with a Beretta semi. I have owned many semi-auto's, and this a400 unico has been the best of them.
