So the APX has been available for a little over a year now in Canada. However I have seen very few of them up for grabs on the EE yet. Is that because people are buying them and liking them and keeping them or because no one is buying them in the first place? So lets here some opinions on them. I have played with with them at the store and I liked what saw. However I dunno if that translates into a good range gun.
 
I have 2000 rounds through mine. I like it. Never had one hiccup. I don’t mind the trigger on mine. Breaks clean enough for me. I’m not selling mine ;)
 
I've had one pretty much since they were available.
Taking it with me to Front Sight in Nevada next week to take their defensive handgun course with.
That's how much I like it.
Only issue was finding a holster but Alien Gear is your friend.
 
I've not seen one on a range yet, and I shoot a fair bit... I think there are few on the EE as few have been sold. Polymer striker fired market is pretty saturated already.
 
Great gun, had one since it’s been out, trigger was great out of the box. Got the competition spring from Stoger and reduced the pull weight even more.

I would speculate this as well.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the looks of it, and I don't get a good purchase on the slide serrations either.
I'm sure there are others who feel the same way as I do, which probably means they'll look at others in the price range.
They're also still pretty new to Canada in general
 
For 75$ I bought the FDE frame from stoeger. Pretty easy to install the trigger group and the black slide and black hand grip in the FDE frame. I love the look now even more.
 
Took mine out to the range twice and after 250 rounds or so it detonated into a million pieces. Cracked slide, frame in 3 spots, destroyed the trigger mechanism and blew out my magazine. Extractor ended up in thr next range over. Definitely didn't install much confidence in the thing and ended up selling it after I got it back from repairs.

Sounds like some bad ammo, same gun in 40 takes quite a bit more abuse than the 9 does and doesnt seem to have any issues, I got a fair amount of rounds thru mine now and some of it was pretty hot, no problems so far.
