Beretta ARX 160 info?

No, she is the owner, she is Filipino I think. She seems very nice and I did get the impression that she was a real ''gun'' person. She competes in shooting competitions and stuff. That is why I felt so confident giving her a deposit on the ARX. But she is proving to tough to contact on the phone and isn't returning my calls, and it is annoying.

Kind of OT but...is she by chance a blond?

No, the lady that owns (or married into WW rather) Wild West, is an argumentative Asian women. (or Filipina?)

I cant confirm any of this, but according to a few different people, the GUY that used to own it (or still does?) ended up marrying this women whom was pretty much only interested in the money aspect, she doesn't know or care about any gun stuff. Just what she needs to to sell stuff, and that's it.

Now she pretty much runs the place, I have no idea if the owner still owns it or has handed it off to her, or whats going on. All I know is EVERY single time I've ever gone there, or heard of a friend going there, she has given out major WTF headaches....

ETA

you think she's nice? try calling her out on her BS one day ;) :p

So......I must apologize to the people on here who were right and I was wrong,......I mean my gun dealer was wrong in informing me that she was bringing in ARX's; it does turn out that she misspoke and what she is now saying is that the shipment is actually 20 benelli MR1's, as the ARX is prohibited.
I am now contemplating a RA XCR even though it looks to be about 400-500$ more. Really cool gun from what I have benn reading on here though.
I actually called ''International Orders'' at Robinson Arms today and the guy I talked to said that Wolverine is Canada's distributer and the dealer network gets them thru those guys. Wolverine's website says the XCR's are ""Back ordered'', but the RA guy told me they have ramped up production and worst case scenario to fill all the Canadian orders is around 6-8 weeks or less.
Gotta thank the guys that I originally snapped at on here for giving me the heads up and saving me 2 month's wait only to find out it was not the gun I ordered or that she promised me or wrote on my sales slip.

Apparently, the Wild West guys are only interested in making money. My own experience with them was a very unpleasent one and I was able to get my money back only after 7-8 months. The grand lady over there doesn't knows a bit about guns & will try her best to get a deposit for stuff which they can't ever procure. A sound friendly advice, stay away from that place if you can. On the other hand Wolverine is the best place to buy guns. I bought several guns in the past from them and always got excellent service. Call Ryan Skelton at wolverine & he'll take care of everything & never mislead their customers, they are excellent people to do business with.

That's too bad.. I was hoping for an alternative on the non-res market other than the XCR. Oh well.. at least you got everything settled and no disappointments in the end!

Well I'm glad you found out before anything was too late! I know what its like to be expecting to get something and have it be a mistake on the business' part :(

+1 to this, Wolverine has always treated me good and they are friendly KNOWLEDGEABLE people! :D

Dude, its Wild West gun range.

They are the biggest sham of a gun shop I have EVER been to.

I bought my handgun (Mark23) there before, it took almost 2 months to transfer it to me. Then I wasted an entire trip there because they said they had mags for it, but they were for something completely different (not even a USP)

Trust me, Wild west are ALL brainless. ESPECIALLY the management. The women (owner) argued with my friend that there was no difference at ALL between 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 rem. (ya know, 20000 PSI is no big deal right?)

I don't think anyone can blame you for being given the wrong info, but a place like P&D or even Milarm is much more knowledgeable in firearms than Wild West.

You and your friend should read a little more about 5.56 and .223 rounds twenty thousand psi difference you have to be kiddin!!!
