seriously. They hired a dude that came from designing cars and bikes and got him to design pistols, rifles and shotguns. The first point for him to consider was style, not function. Look at the wonderful Beretta 9000, then the CX4 Storm, then the PX4 then this.
Of them all at least this the ARX100 actually doesn't look too bad. But they could have trim lined it a bit in a few areas.

I get that they used a designer for style...but why do they make beautiful cars and bikes, then hire a car or bike designer and end up with fugly guns?
 
I will be the first in line for the arx100. It is a very curvy rifle no doubt. However I like my girls curvy to.

With the quick change barrel, on the fly ejection changing, totaly ambidextrous charging handle and being a combat based platform whats not to like?

With it being a beretta firearm, quality and and reliability will be top notch. It may not be everyones cup of tea based on its looks but I have little doubt how it will function.

Here I am, I love my guns, and they seem to love me too. Its not about looks, its about functionality :)
 
The rifle ends up the way it is because it is plastic. Sharp angles and rectangular cross section is not as strong as a polygonal cross section with multiple round shallow folds. Beretta has learn from other plastic guns to increase the receiver's resistance to deflection.

One less person in line in front of me, excellent! I can't wait for this thing to come out. I'll take functionality over esthetics but I think this thing looks bad ass! Side-folding telescoping stock, fully ambidextrous controls, quick detach, quick change barrels and a suggested msrp lower than just about any other equivalent rifle on the Candian market. What's not to love? It would be nice to hear some real news on this thing for a change though.

That's becuase inside that bulk it is giving birth to a px4 subcompact.

Care to elaborate what made it a budget rifle? What were/are the shortcomings of the g36?
 
From what I can see this list isn't about the reclassfy

It more look like the gun been request for classify
That's why there are some duplicate on the list

There are a lot of them on the list have been classify as prohibited already
Like the T97A BD38 and the SCAR 16S and 17S

Come one guys don't need to scare yourself everyday by thinking too much lol
 
Good thing they have those evil Lee Enfields in there. They need classifying after all this time they are the original assault rifles. :)
