Is there a typical time of the year other than Shotshow where new offerings are announced by them?

It is confirmed as a raffle prize late year in Canada so it looks like it will be coming here.

Looks like a plastic receiver. Won't rust as a waterfowl gun but I'm curious how durable it would be. Beretta Semiautos with alloy receivers are known to last for decades.

I know I run against the grain but the perfect tool for waterfowl? The perfect tool has two barrels, walnut stock, case hardened receiver, 30" barrels with full chokes. Gobbles down Kent TM, weighs in the 10 pound range. Has been tested for the last 100 - 125 years.

The object of the game isn't to simply kill as many as possible with maximum efficiency. At least, not for me.

For those who hunt on salt water, could be just the tool. Amazing how strong quality modern polymers are now.

Interesting they submitted it for nato testing. Maybe its just for marketing. While I find the stock offensive on a hunting gun too many chances for branches to get stuck in the cutouts the rest doesn't bother me much. I rarely shoot heavy loads for ducks anymore and if I do I reach for a 10ga

For field use, cattails and stubble you need to duct tape the stock so it does not grab everything like Velcro! The stock make it an ugly thing.
