I had a look at one of these an old timer is selling,not heavily engraved model but some,condition good to fair..some minor blemishes..has speed trigger..any rough estimates on prices for one of these ?Did a little searching on google but mostly USA used firearms sites so may not reflect prices here in Canada..I read the speed trigger was not real popular..
 
Mr.S , what sort of prices/values where you finding in the US?
I use an older (out dated ) Blue Book Guide to Firearms Values and find not only is it informative, but the prices reflect the value today here in Canada.
This is for the more popular every day off the shelf firearm .
I am not saying that is the market price , but it gives me an idea of what it was yesteryear and thus I dig a little deeper.
So, your Beretta BL 2S O/U with speed trigger from 1974-76 in 100% was $475.oo at 80 % condition it was $200.oo US $$
Now, having gone out on a limb with those numbers from an outdated book 26 edition we will see what your values where and what others with vast more knowledge
than I will have to say.

One paid $450, it's about 85-90%..another site says $200-$500..another BL2(single selective trigger):NIB$504,Ex$406,Gd$281..when the old timer said $1500 I almost fell off the couch..he's been out of shooting for a long time and maybe a bit out of touch with prices..as he has a sporterized .303 he wanted $300 for as well(twice the going rate..)..was interesting old guy,is ex iranian army,big guy even old he was a bit intimidating..lol..helping him set some more realistic prices.
