Wow that new rifle is going to be a winner over a lot of Bolt action. Hopefully we get that in stores here soon.
 
Straight pull rifles have been around for a very long time. I’d recommend buying a tried and true European straight pull if you want a quality rifle. The BRX1 doesn’t look very impressive.
 
The price is sure better than lots of the competition! Time will tell if it is any good! I’m actually more interested in the new Heanel, just like the look better, but who know what it will sell for and if they will ever be available up here!!

Considering that Beretta is the oldest firearm company in the word and European, they might qualify.
 
I think it will be a good rifle, maybe not as fancy as a blazer but totally functional! Just like the savage will be and the Heanel also!! There is so many models made by so many brands of straight pull rifles that I’m sure they didn’t reinvent the wheel, and I’m sure they looked at all of them and played with all of them. I could go even further and say they might have perfected some of them!
 
One good thing about the addition of cheaper straight pulls is the possibility of Blaser losing market share, hopefully driving their price down. It’d be nice to eliminate some of that Blaser tax.

I do feel that straight pulls are a smarter design so the more that come out the better.
