I could not find much on these pistols. How common (or rare) are they in Canada and what is the range of their value?

92D's are rather rare. they have been discontinued for at least 10 years. You can find a 96D police trade in much easier. (~$500), 92D's are more money tho!

5-600.00 bucks value. Better than the 96D due to the caliber - longer life for the frame.

They aren't as common as the 96D series due to the widespread use of the 40 cartridge when many police agencies transitioned from revolvers. I know in Ontario, very few agencies used 9mm - maybe 1/2 dozen at best. Many of the 9mm and 40 parts are interchangeable.
