I am in the middle of building an IPSC rig and am now looking into mags. My question is, do factory Beretta mags for a 92fs out preform the competition? Is there a noticeable differnece?

I am also assuming that factory mags will last longer than others? is this true? I am aiming for what will last the longest. I know someone here will have the answers I need, Any information would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Use factory mag so you can also use the factory bumper pad if you shoot production.

Production is what I would be shooting. Bumper pads?!?! I will research these. Thanks, what are other good mags or mag companies out there?

Stoegers in Ontario is the importer, give them a call.

as for stainless, IF, and I mean IF, Beretta ever made actual stainless ones, they are extremely rare, so rare in fact that Beretta denies making them, EVER. if you get the nickel ones (the ones everyone thinks are stainless) they work wonders.
Mecgar makes excellent mags, and the neat thing there is, you can put the Beretta bumper pads on them (they do fit), or you could make your own, out of say, steel, or brass, or tungsten or something like that, and use them. So long as the overall size was the same as the factory ones fitted with the rubber bumpers. ;)
