Having just purchased a Ruger MKIII Target, I am now turning my attention to the Beretta & CZ 9mm decision.
I have been able to handle the Beretta FS and it feels good in my hand. But I was not able to handle the 90TWO since the dealer did not have one in stock. He did say that he felt the 90TWO grip felt somewhat similar to the Glock grip, but in looking at the specs on the two Beretta's, they both are listed at 1.5" in width.
He also said that a smaller grip is not necessarily better since a smaller grip may not provide the holding stability compared to a larger grip. True?
I would appreciate feedback on these points. Thx.

You'll like the 90Two

The 90Two comes with the standard grip that Beretta thinks everyone would use. The two other substitutes you must purchase separately. [bastards!]
That's not really a problem since the included grip is pretty damn fine.
Somewhere down the line I know I will acquire a 92FS or a 92Vertec, but for now, I'm not disappointed with my 90Two.
You wouldn't be either....

the 90Two standard grip is the same in dimensions as the 92FS. but it's a different design internally.
as for a smaller grip not providing proper stability etc? your dealer needs to learn when to shut up and not talk about things he obviously knows nothing about. If the smaller grip (like the Vertec) works for you, then it works for you. if you have small hands, then get the small grip. Once you learn how to properly grip the pistol, you'll know which size you need.

I'm pretty sure there's only one smaller grip available for 90two (not 2)...I've only handled the 90two a couple of times but it definately doesn't feel like a Glock! It might've felt similar to him because the grip is wraparound plastic... Also if you want to try a smaller grip it doesn't cost much; IIRC someome ordered one from Gobles in London for like $10! (EDIT: just noticed you're from London lol) If I had the gun I'd get the other grip for sure just to see which one I prefer.

Could be! I've shot a 92 Vertec and have to say it seamed to have a little more recoil/flip than regular 92FS (the owner of the vertec noticed the same thing after shooting my 92)! not sure if that is because Vertec is 3oz lighter(and so is the 90two) or was because of the grip angle or smaller grip shape...but Vertec did feel good in my hand... Some people (girly man with girly hands oh and midgets :)) dislike the 'normal' Beretta grip but I always liked it because it's very easy to hold on to it during recoil; not that 9mm (or .40 or .45 for that matter) has much recoil...
