beretta M9 or baby eagle

Beretta hands down. I have owned both and the baby eagle was fine till I ended up needing warranty work done after about 500 rounds. Took them over four months and multiple lies to get me my gun back. Absolute crap. The beretta's yes thats plural I am now the proud owner of three shoot great feel great and I have had noooooooooo problems.

I don't like the Jericho at all (which is odd, cause I love CZs, my understanding is that it isn't a "clone", per say, rather just based on the CZ concept) but I actually love shooting berettas. I don't have a beretta, but given the choice between these two I'd go with the beretta any day.

The Baby Eagle's with polygonal rifling in the barrels are VERY accurate, and the ergonomics of the gun are excellent. However, I still recommend the Beretta if the ergos work for you. The 92 is ultra-reliable, beautiful and oh so smooth in operation. The slide feels like it runs on ball bearings. The Baby Eagle feels almost crude in comparison.

never did like any of the Berrettas that I tried but it's you buying not me , so again try them and see what you like the best , although I would tend to lean towards the Baby Eagle.

They're both extremely mediocre.

Yes, well, let me guess... the Glock reigns supreme, right? :jerkit: Unfortunately, or should I say fortunately, he is NOT looking for Tupperware, but for a "steel" gun! Way too radical a concept for plastic lovers to understand, I know :D

I'd say: get them both!

Williams Arm got a M9 for $695, two mags. Yeah, you can't tell whether you like it until you try it. I have a M9 (share the mags with my CX4 Storm) and found it very nice to shoot. I got small hands but still find it very comfortable.

I hate the slide on the baby eagle.. for this reason alone I'll never buy one. It's tapered like a triangle, makes it hard to grasp properly. No thanks.

I guess the same applies to a Beretta, really.

I find that the low profile slide of CZ/baby eagle makes it hard to rack the side.

btw $695 is a great price for a Beretta

As already mentioned, the fit/functionality to your hand size is most important (in my humble opinion).
However, because the M-9 is military issue, mags, accessories, parts and servicing SHOULD be easier to find. Also, any problems/issues with the widespread use of this piece are well known/have already been dealt with--which may not be obvious with lesser known or used commercial models such as the baby eagle.
