Beretta M9A3 - amazing precision at 60yards

I still can't get over how precise this beretta is. Straight out of the box. Simply amazing.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks. Took it twice to the range and yesterday (3rd trip) I was hitting 6" steel plates at 40 yards 9 times out of 10. And I'm no marksman by any means. I actually consider myself a 9mm newb.

Now i understand why the US military has been using M9's for the last 30 years.

Are all the 92 series that precise ? Or is this an M9 thing ?

I find Beretta 92 series to be extremely accurate. I think it is inherent in the design of the barrel/locking assy.

À la walther P38/P1 though I don't find the Walther to be accurate, the M9 is indeed a very accurate combat pistol.

Shot my M&P at 100 meters on a 10" gong. After getting the right sight picture... all good.

I'm a member at the RN the restricted range goes to 45 yards (top of the hill) and the plates are set at 40 yards. You still got VG accuracy out of that A3. Ain't that exciting to hear that "ping" shot after shot?!?

Seriously ? Talk about bursting my bubble. lol.

I was sure it was 50 to 60 yards. I thought the rope hanging was at 20 yards. Ah well. I'm going back under the rock i crawled from.

Now for the ping ping ping. Yes. I love it. I just need to work on hitting them faster.
