Got a Sig P227R Enhanced Elite in 45 ACP, awesome firearm.

The question is why shoot 9mm when you can shoot 45 ACP, you may save some money, but you will lose a lot of fun factor

Just picked up a Beretta M9A3 and I love it. Beautiful gun.

These guns all have very different grips, feels and bore axis. You should really try before you buy. The differences are too great for an internet forum to do justice in explaining.

Differences between 92fs and M9A3 include threaded barrel, night sights, beveled mag well, oversize extended mag release plus the vertec frame with rail and no palm swell. Price difference new was around $375 when i bought mine

The most important difference between the two is the change they made to the safety on the M9A3. They put enough angle on it that you won't accidentally render the gun unusable by racking the slide.

I have put tens of thousands of rounds thu several 92/96 variants over the years, shot IPSC with 2 different models for several years before getting the M9A3 and never had that problem, as far as I was concerned they fixed a problem that didnt really exist.
